 The H.O.P.E Resource and Enrichment Center exists to empower individuals and families to persevere through life’s challenges by connecting them to essential resources, education, and opportunities for personal and economic growth.

About

H.O.P.E. Enrichment Programs — Help, Outreach, Purpose, and Empowerment — extends the mission of 2 Sisters 2 Different Kinds of Lupus, Inc. to the broader community. These programs provide youth enrichment, health and wellness education, financial literacy, community workshops, and general support services for individuals and families, whether or not they are affected by Lupus.


H.O.P.E. is designed to uplift, empower, and strengthen communities, ensuring that hope and opportunity are accessible to all. Through these programs, we inspire growth, resilience, and a sense of purpose in every participant.

Our Mission

The H.O.P.E Resource and Enrichment Center, operated under 2 Sisters 2 Different Kinds of Lupus, Inc. (501c3), exists to empower individuals and families to persevere through life’s challenges by connecting them to essential resources, education, and opportunities for personal and economic growth. We believe that with compassion, guidance, and access, every person can rise toward stability and elevation.

 To create a thriving community where every household has the tools, confidence, and support to achieve self-sufficiency and long-term success.

Programs and Services

  •  Provides up to $300 in emergency utility assistance toward Con Edison bills.
  • Goals: Prevent shutoffs, stabilize households in temporary crisis.
  • Target Population: Low- to moderate-income residents.
  • Partners: Con Edison, churches, local agencies. 


  •  Supplies gently used furniture to families transitioning from shelters or hardship.
  • Goals: Restore comfort, promote dignity in housing transitions.
  • Population: Homeless/formerly homeless families, DV survivors, youth aging out of foster care.
  • Partners: Furniture Sharehouse, local retailers, community drives.
